This 4 Days gorillas and wildlife safari, takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Trek through lush rainforest, encounter a gorilla family up close, and enjoy breathtaking landscapes of southwestern Uganda plus a safari in Queen Elizabeth national Park for tree climbing lions.

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Drive from Entebbe or Kampala to Bwindi with scenic views of the countryside. Stop for lunch en route and arrive at your lodge in the evening.

Overnight: Buhoma community Camp.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing. Trek through the forest to meet a habituated gorilla family. Spend one unforgettable hour with the gorillas, after transfer to ishsaha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.

overnight: Topi Lodge.

Day 3: Morning safari in ishasha and afternoon boat cruise on kazinga channel

Have breakfast and then leave for a morning safari in ishasha, this is an opportunity to tick off the famous tree climbing lions of this area.
Then head north of the park for the boat cruise on kazinga channel, this is famous for having large concentraction of hippos.
Go for a community walk around kyambura area, you will visit a local farmer and get to learn about coffee, cocoa, vanilla, end the walk with a hike to the top of twin lakes.

Overnight: Lights of kazinga homestay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer back to Entebbe

Have breakfast and then leave for another primate trekking experience, the chimpanzee experience, after the trekking, you will start your journey back to Entebbe as we end our 4 days gorilla and wildlife safari.
