Terms and Conditions

Dazzling Wild Gorilla Safaris

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Bookings & Reservations

• All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email, website form, or official communication channels.
• A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required deposit or full payment.
• The person making the booking accepts these terms on behalf of all participants.

2. Payments

• A deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid before the start of the tour unless otherwise.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or other agreed methods.
• Any bank or transaction charges are the responsibility of the client.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations must be made in writing.
• Refunds depend on notice period and services already booked (permits, accommodation, and transport).
• Gorilla and chimpanzee permits are non-refundable, as per Uganda Wildlife Authority regulations.
• No refunds are provided for unused services once a tour has started.

4. Changes to Itineraries

• We reserve the right to adjust itineraries due to weather, road conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control.
• Any changes will aim to maintain the quality and value of the tour.
• Clients may request changes, which may incur additional costs.

5. Travel Insurance

• All clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, trip cancellation, and personal belongings.
• Dazzling Wild Gorilla Safaris is not responsible for costs arising from lack of adequate insurance.

6. Health & Safety

• Clients must disclose any relevant medical conditions at the time of booking.
• Participation in activities such as gorilla trekking requires a reasonable level of fitness.
• We reserve the right to deny participation if a client’s condition poses a risk to themselves or others.

7. Responsibility & Liability

• Dazzling Wild Gorilla Safaris acts as an agent for accommodation providers, transport services, and park authorities.
• We are not liable for loss, injury, delay, or damage caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, wildlife behavior, government actions, or third-party service providers.
• Clients participate in tours and activities at their own risk.

8. Wildlife & Park Regulations

• Clients must follow all park rules, ranger instructions, and conservation guidelines.
• Any behavior that threatens wildlife, communities, or safety may result in removal from the tour without refund.

9. Children & Minors

• Some activities (such as gorilla trekking) have minimum age requirements set by authorities.
• Parents or guardians are fully responsible for minors traveling with them.

10. Photography & Marketing

• We may use photographs or videos taken during tours for marketing purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.

11. Complaints

• Any complaints should be reported immediately to the tour guide or company representative for prompt resolution.
• Complaints raised after the tour must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time.

12. Governing Law

• These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
• Any disputes shall be resolved under Ugandan jurisdiction.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
