Tour Itinerary For 21 days Uganda Group Tours

  • Day 1. ARRIVAL TO UGANDA FOR YOUR UGANDA GROUP TOURS & TRANSFER TO GUEST HOUSE .

    Your safari guide will pick you from Entebbe airport for the start of your 21 days Uganda group tours safari. You will be taken to the guest home in Entebbe to relax after the flight and be ready for an early take off the next day. Depending on your arrival time, you would decide to do some activities around Entebbe such as shoe-bill trekking in Mabamba swamp, visiting Entebbe Botanical gardens, Entebbe Zoo, Ngamba island for chimpanzee feeding. (Note these activities are optional and not included in the price).

    OVER NIGHT AT DREAMJET COTTAGES ENTEBBE.

  • Day 2. TRANSFER TO JINJA FOR OPTIONAL WHITE WATER RAFTING AND EVENING BOAT CRUISE TO THE SOURCE OF THE NILE.

    We start our Second day of this 21 days Uganda group tours safari with a delicious breakfast, After breakfast, we get ready for a drive to Jinja city the source of the Nile. continue with our journey to our briefing point where we shall be briefed about rafting conditions, after the briefing, we get set for the Nile as we raft on it for about 3 hours. We relax a bit after lunch and in the late afternoon we get ready for the boat cruise to the source of the Nile as we see the sun setting while on the mighty river Nile. Note that the price for rafting is not include as its an optional activity.

    OVERNIGHT AT KINGFISHER RESORT.

  • Day 3. TRANSFER TO SIPI FALLS, AFTERNOON SIPI FALLS EXPERIENCE & COFFEE TOUR

    After your early morning breakfast, transfer to Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa in eastern Uganda with en-route lunch at Mbale as you gaze at the table Mountains in the background of the town.

    Continue to Sipi and hike the three falls that originate from Mount. Elgon. After the hike, we go for coffee tour, and here you will be introduced to how coffee is grown as we engage in the process right from the start to the end.

    After the hike and coffee experience, check-in at your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

    OVER NIGHT AT RAFIKI LODGE

  • Day 4. TRANSFER TO MOROTO TOWN FOR AFTERNOON KARAMAJONG CULTURAL EXPERIENCE.

    On our fourth day of this 21 days Uganda group tours safari, we leave the stunning views of Sipi Falls in the morning and start the journey to Moroto via Pian upe wildlife reserve. We have a drive with nice sceneries ahead of us and count on arriving in Pian upe a reserve in the most unique setting to the North of the Elgon Mountain. We make a stopover for a picnic lunch and have chances of spotting ostriches as we enjoy our lunch, after lunch we continue with our journey through the karamoja wilderness and be ready to observe the real African set up as we transit. In the afternoon get ready for the Karamajong cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamjong peoples at Karenna and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items.

    OVER NIGHT MOUNT MOROTO HOTEL

  • Day 5. TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK FOR AN EVENING SAFARI

    After breakfast we start the drive to Kidepo Valley NP in a landscape of vast plains and semi-arid savannah framed by jagged mountains and wooded hills, Kidepo is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa. The landscape throughout the park is studded with small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs from which one can obtain stunning views in all directions enjoy panoramic views of the Narus River Valley and photographic opportunities of wildlife from all corners. An evening game drive along the Narus River Valley for game Viewing and photography of Elephants, herds of Buffaloes, Jackals, Jackson’s Hartebeest, Klipspringer and possibly Lions

    OVER NIGHT AT KIDEPO SAVANNAH LODGE

  • Day 6. MORNING SAFARI AND AFTERNOON SAFARI IN KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK.

    After an early breakfast, go for a morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring area crossing the sand river as we continue  with our Uganda safari. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including Ostrich connecting back for lunch. In the afternoon have another exciting safari to exploit every corner of the park mainly searching for the Big cats around the rocks.

    OVER NIGHT AT KIDEPO SAVANNAH LODGE

  • Day 7. TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

    After your early morning breakfast, check out of your lodge for the journey to Murchison Falls National Park. As you drive out, you have another opportunity for yet another game drive to spot perhaps what you missed on the previous game drives. Have lunch en-route and check into Murchison Falls National Park in the late afternoon.

    OVER NIGHT AT HORNBILL BUSH LODGE

  • Day 8. MORNING SAFARI IN MURCHISON FALLS NP & AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE ON THE VICTORIA NILE , OPTIONAL FALLS HIKE.

    After an early morning breakfast, join your guide for yet another version of a fabulous game drive. Spot out for Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Giraffe, Buffalo and herds of antelope.

    The game drive gives you a chance to spot unique birds like the Northern Carmine Bee eater, Red throated Bee-eater, Silver bird among others.

    After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and prepare for your afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile.

    The boat cruise takes you to the bottom of the falls, look out for various schools of hippos, crocodiles and elephants and buffalo quenching on the waters of the Nile.

    The cruise will take you to the point where your hike to the top of the falls starts from. The hike takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour with unique serenity of the views of the Nile and the magnificent Murchison Falls as thousands of tones of water force through an eight meter gorge to plunge 45m below.

    You can decide to take on hike to the top of the fall, note that this activity is not included in the price.

    OVER NIGHT AT HORNBILL BUSH LODGE

  • Day 9. MORNING SAFARI, VISIT TOP OF THE FALLS & TRANSFER TO ZIWA RHINO SANCTURY FOR RHINO TREKKING.

    We start this day with a morning game drive in search for the big cts in case we missed them yesterday, then proceed to for a hike down to the bottom of the falls and then to the top of the falls. We have lunch in Masindi town and after lunch, we proceed to Ziwa rhino sanctuary where they introducing rhinos in Uganda, we then trek the rhinos. Here you go to walk with the rhinos with a ranger and the trekking would take around an hour.

    OVER NIGHT AT ZIWA RHINO GUEST HOUSE

  • Day 10. TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NP & AFTERNOON BIGODI SWAMP WALK.

    Wake up for yet another day of adventure. Have your early morning Breakfast, check out of your lodge and another version of a game drive before you drive out of the park.

    Have lunch en-route to Kibale as you are showered with views of the Albertine escarpments in your background.

    Be treated with enormous views of Tea estates through Fort Portal on your journey to Kibale National park where you shall reach late afternoon and you will go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp area and look out for most of the water loving bird species. The forest /Park has almost 335 species of birds with the Green Breasted Pita topping the list and therefore a good place for birders.

    OVER NIGHT AT LAKE NKURUBA CAMP

  • Day 11. CHIMPANZEE TREKKING & TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

    Head into the forest of the Primate city of Kibale in the morning for chimpanzee trekking, the first great ape you will meat during Uganda safari.

    This is a three hour experience. Kibale Forest national park is a rainy forest and a home to over 1500 Chimpanzees. Here you have the chance to see the chimps close up and capture shots of our closet cousins in the jungle in there frenzy exciting moods as they are grooming, building relationships, bringing up young ones, think and sharing food, plus rare bird species following them. Crater Lake area, hike for Black and white, red colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, birds, village walks, crater exploration, –

    Transfer to Queen Elizabeth, after and drive further southwards with the Rwenzori ranges (Longest in Africa) in View or Drive through the Crater lakes in the Hills through to sample out the surprising Diversity of Savannah trees and wild life! ). Target destination Queen Elizabeth. Drive through some villages with cultivated areas until the Queen Elizabeth park to the escarpment magnificent endless views from your overnight place as the sun sets and evening community walk through villages and finally to the twin lakes.

    OVER NIGHT AT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES

  • Day 12. MORNING SAFARI IN KASENYI PLAINS & AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL.

    Experience Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning as we continue your 21 days Uganda safari, an early game drive that exposes us to diverse animals, Big 5 members Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along the Circuits as we drive along. There is a rich bird life especially our version of storks in the wetland spots as we reach the Flamingoes in the salt lakes. After lunch get ready for the Classic highlights on the 2hrs Boat cruise starting at 3pm on the famous Kazinga channel, this 36kms channel links Lake George – Lake Edward. Here you can see land and water Adapted Hippopotamuses Yawning and some slashing canines to each other, the National Geographical society Killing machine the Nile Crocodile gaping along the Banks and Savannah version of Pigs the Warthog- Pumba of the award winning Lion King are a hallmark sign in this Animal. With your Binoculars along the peninsula you have a magnificent view of Birds and animals like the ever playing African Elephants in Waters as we sigh and reset Fatigue and stress, to point zero.

    OVER NIGHT AT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES

  • Day 13. VISIT THE ORPHANAGE & TRANSFER TO ISHASHA SECTOR OF QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK.

    This morning, you will check out of your lodge and set out for a visit to the orphanga and after continue for a  game drive in the Ishasha area bracing yourself for a chance to see the rare tree climbing lions. The climbing lions can be seen lounging in the fig trees during mid morning as they rest from the previous night’s strenuous hunt!

    OVER NIGHT AT TOPI LODGE

  • Day 14. TRANSFER TO BWINDI FOREST FOR AN AFTERNOON BATWA COMMUNITY WALK.

    We shall have a relaxing morning here, have breakfast and after we get on the road towards Bwindi impenetrable national park. the journey takes through hills that are green covered with tea. Upon arrival in Bwindi, we check in at the lodge, have lunch and after lunch we head for the Batwa community walk. here an interaction with the local people mainly the pygmies will bring you closer and get to learn about their culture.

    OVER NIGHT AT BUHOMA COMMUNITY CAMP

  • Day 15. GORILLA TREKKING AND TRANSFER TO MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK.

    After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing with your packed lunch and later go for gorilla trekking, this could take 4-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas.

    After trekking, meet your driver and transfer back to the hotel where you will unwind as you reflect on the memorable gorilla trek. Later in the evening, visit the Batwa (pygmies) community for a cultural encounter.

    OVER NIGHT AT TRAVELLERS REST KISORO

  • Day 16. GOLDEN MONKEY TREKKING IN MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK.

    After our early morning breakfast, we get ready for the mighty golden monkey trekking, you will be allowed an hour with the golden monkey after finding them. We get back to the lodge for lunch if we didn’t carry a packed lunch with us. After lunch, we head to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening relation

    OVER NIGHT AT TRAVELLERS REST KISORO

  • Day 17. VOLCANO HIKE & TRANSFER TO LAKE BUNYONYI.

    A day to hike the volcanos, there are 3 volcanic mountains here; mount sabinyo, mount muhabura and mouny gahinga. you can decide on which volcano you need to hike as they are different and also at different altitudes. After the hike, you will drive to lake Bunyonyi.

    OVER NIGHT AT BUNYONYI ECO RESORT

  • Day 18. RELAXATION DAY AT LAKE BUNYONYI WITH OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES.

    The day begins with a boat trip for sightseeing and birding on Lake Bunyonyi. Feel the wonders of nature as you will see big terraced hills, big valleys, big everything with people and forests! This can be combined with a nature walk and cultural visit to the Pygmies community to explore their life style.

    As you get back to your lodge from the boat ride, you visit the Supreme adventure park that lies on one of the islands for the Zip Lining experience across the lake.

    From there, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation in the evening. Note that these activities are not included in the price

    OVER NIGHT AT BUNYONYI ECO RESORT

  • Day 19. TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO FOR AN AFTERNOON SAFARI & OPTIONAL NIGHT SAFARI.

    Have breakfast and embark on your  journey to Lake Mburo National Park driving across the rolling hills and slopes of Kabale – known as “the Switzerland of Africa” and a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch.

    Proceed to Lake Mburo and enter the Park with a game drive en-route which will enable you to see animals like zebras, topis, elands, impalas, buffaloes and antelopes

    OVER NIGHT AT EAGLES NEST LODGE

  • Day 20. MORNING SAFARI WALK IN THE COMMUNITY, OPTIONAL HORSE RIDE & OPTIONAL MOUNTAIN BIKING - TRANSFER TO ENTEBBE.

    Breakfast will be served early and after go for the hyena walk with in the Park. This is a guided walk where you will be escorted by a park ranger from the Uganda wildlife Authority for security purposes and to provide you with more information about the Park and the trail.

    Return to the lodge after the walk and transfer to Entebbewith a lunch stopover en-route and at the equator for photography and the experiment. Proceed to Entebbe arriving in the evening.

    OVER NIGHT AT DREAMJET COTTAGES ENTEBBE

  • Day 21. OPTIONAL SHOEBILL TRACKING IN MABAMBA SWAMP & AFTERNOON TRAFER TO THE AIRPORT FOR FLIGHT.

    On this day, You would decide to do shoebill tracking in mabamba swamp or do a walk around the botanical garden as we wait for the time for your flight back home

  • we support LIGHTS OF KAZINGA ORPHANAGE. Its an orphanage deep in kyambura village just at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park and we normally take our clients to the orphanage to have an interaction with these disadvantaged children, you could even participate to take part in some activities such as pedal sew, weave baskets, dance, sing and drum.
  • You can support an orphan more if you buy some of crafts these kids produce them selves, Tshirts and other things.
  • you can also decide to sponsor a child to go to school and by doing this, you will have given a good life to the the child for the rest of his/her life.
  • The money that we get is used to directly support these orphans by paying school fees, buying scholastic materials, food, building a home for them.
