 Brief itinerary

Day 1. Pick up from the Entebbe Airport and transfer to Kibale national park

Day 2. Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Day 3. Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Day 4. Transfer to Ishasha and afternoon game drive

Day 5. Morning game drive and transfer to Bwindi

Day 6. Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Day 7. Transfer to Entebbe for flight

 

Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1. 4th September. Pick up from the Entebbe Airport and transfer to Kibale national park

    Your driver picks you from Entebbe Airport and transfer to Kibale national park. Prepare for a long day drive of about 10 hours heading to the most magnificent forest park in the west of Uganda to Kibale forest national park. On your way you pass through the local villages with different cultures, local markets, cultivated hills, tea plantations and many more interesting things. Have lunch on the way as you continue to the lodge to check in during evening hours for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT NKURUBA LODGE

  • Day 2. 5th September. Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

    . After breakfast go for a morning chimpanzee trekking that starts with a short briefing at Kanyanchu headquarters and then after you are guided by a ranger guide to go trek the chimpanzee. You will also get a chance to spot other primates like red tailed monkey, red colobus, black and white colobus plus animals like forest elephants, buffaloes, duikers and forest birds like turacos, hornbills, shrikes among others   and then after drive for about 4 hours to Queen Elizabeth national park via the Kasenda crater lakes for photography as you continue to check in to the lodge in Queen Elizabeth national park for a night. OVERNIGHT AT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES

  • Day 3. 6th September. Morning game drive in Kasenyi and afternoon boat cruise

    Wake up early morning and go for a morning safari in the Kasenyi sector of Queen Elizabeth national park, here you have chances to spot for the big cats like lions, leopards, hyenas plus other animal species like elephants, buffaloes, hippos, kobs, warthogs and a variety of bird species like eagles, vultures, hawks, weavers as you continue for a visit to the salt lake to see how salt is mined and later transfer for lunch. After lunch go for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects the two lakes Edward and George. Here you also gets chances to see as more animals as possible like elephants, buffaloes, hippos resting the water, crocodiles along the banks plus a variety of water loving birds like cormorants, fish eagle, jacanas, king fishers among others and then drive to lodge for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT PUMBA SAFARI COTTAGES

  • Day 5. 7th September. Transfer to Ishasha afternoon game drive

    Have breakfast and then after depart for a 3 hour drive to Ishasha. On your way you will get chances to see animals feeding along the way plus a number of birds flying in the air and others resting on tree branches as you continue to check in to the lodge for lunch and relax. After then go for an afternoon safari in jungle of Ishasha a home to the tree climbing lions plus other animals like leopards, hyenas, elephants, antelopes, baboons, buffaloes and a variety of bird species like storks, eagles, vultures, starlings among many more as you drive back to the lodge for dinner and a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT TOPI LODGE

  • Day 10. 8th September. Morning safari in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi.

    Have breakfast and then go for a morning safari in Ishasha to get the second chance to spot the tree climbing lions in case you missed them yesterday or spot as more animals and birds as possible and then after drive to the lodge for an early lunch. After lunch then drive for 3 hours to Bwindi forest national park as you pass through the terraced hills and thick forests of Bwindi and reach to the lodge in the evening hours to relax and have a night there.

    OVERNIGHT AT BUHOMA COMMUNITY

  • Day 6. 9th September. Gorilla trekking and transfer to Bunyonyi.

    Wake up early morning for breakfast and then drive to the park headquarters. Gorilla trekking starts with briefing at 8am and after you are divided into a group of 8 people assigned to a specific group of gorillas. You will go with a ranger guide to trek the gorillas and you allowed to spend one hours with the gorillas as you take as much photos as you can. The forest also has other animals like buffaloes, elephants, primates plus a number of bird species. After the trek set off for 4 hour drive to Lake Bunyonyi for a night.

    OVERNIGHT AT BUNYONYI ECO RESORT.

  • Day 7. 10th. Transfer to Entebbe

    After breakfast set off for 10 hour drive to Entebbe making a stopover at the equator for lunch and photography as you continue to Entebbe to catch up with a night flight.

  • Every trip a client confirms with us, he or she has directly supported an orphan since we take 10$ from our sales directly to the orphanage we support.
  • we support LIGHTS OF KAZINGA ORPHANAGE. Its an orphanage deep in kyambura village just at the edge of Queen Elizabeth national park and we normally take our clients to the orphanage to have an interaction with these disadvantaged children, you could even participate to take part in some activities such as pedal sew, weave baskets, dance, sing and drum.
  • You can support an orphan more if you buy some of crafts these kids produce them selves, Tshirts and other things.
  • you can also decide to sponsor a child to go to school and by doing this, you will have given a good life to the the child for the rest of his/her life.
  • The money that we get is used to directly support these orphans by paying school fees, buying scholastic materials, food, building a home for them.
