Queen Elizabeth National Park being the second largest national park in Uganda holds a number of animals, birds, reptiles and beautiful sceneries of crater lakes making it the most popular national park for a number of tourists interested in viewing the wildlife plus the scenery.

 Detailed itinerary

 Day 1.-Transfer from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park, afternoon game drive.

Today we leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park the pearl of wonders located in Southern Western Uganda. The trip to this park will give you opportunities to see remarkable landscapes and scenery in Uganda’s country side. You will see agricultural plantations of fresh fruits and vegetables along your way. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photography. You have Lunch at the lodge and after lunch you go for afternoon game drive in the Kasenyi sector with chances of seeing large herds of buffaloes, Elephants, lions, leopards, warthogs, bushbucks plus a variety of bird species like starlings, eagles, shrikes, hawks, weavers, doves and then after transfer back to the lodge for a night.

Overnight at Pumba Safari Cottages.

 Day 2. Morning Game drive and afternoon boat safari along Kazinga channel.

Enjoy the adventure in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Start an early morning game drive exploring the park in the Kasenyi plains searching for predators like lions, leopards, hyenas and grazers like herds of buffaloes, Elephant, warthogs, hippos, bushbucks on a game drive in safari cars. Return to the Lodge for lunch and after go for a boat cruise on Kazinga channel which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This offers an excellent opportunity for photography moments of Hippos, Buffaloes, Elephants and magnificent water loving bird species like cormorants, geese, jacana, kingfishers, fish eagles.

Day 3. Chimpanzee trekking at Kyambura gorge and transfer back to Kampala.

After breakfast, we checkout from the lodge and embark on the drive through the park and enter the gorge to trek the mighty chimpanzees, you will have a chance to see the chimps in their natural habitats and after the tracking, we transfer back to Kampala and proceed to your hotel or Airport.
